Student Arrested Behind Howard County School Lockdown (Update)

A Howard County school was on lockdown following a stabbing incident outside of the school, Howard County Police said 

Two students apparently got into a fight outside Long Reach High School in Columbia around 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, police said. 

An 18-year-old student was taken to the hospital in stable condition and the student, age 17, fled the scene, police said. Police are searching for the suspect.

It is unknown what started the fight, police said. This is a developing story so check back for updates.
